Last year was my novice year and that being said, I will probably not understand more niche kinds of phil and Ks. Tricks is also a no from me. I'm fine with some of the basic kinds like cap k, security k, set col, idpol, kant, etc etc but in general, if you're hesitant on what you're going to run in front of me, just don't run it unless you're very confident that you can explain it well

No one should really take speaks too seriously but by default, I'll be giving a 29 to 29.5 for all. The only occasions I'll drop them is if you're making the debate space unsafe or unfair (ie continuous misgendering, rude remarks, running disclosure on a novice etc)
I'll give extra speaks if you make a spongebob or peanuts reference somewhere in your speech :)
