2023 Florida Blue Key @ University of Florida October 27 - 29, 2023

We are incredibly excited to welcome you all to the 40thannual Florida Blue Key Speech and Debate Tournament. The tournament will be held on the University of Florida’s campus on October 27th, 28thand 29th, 2023. We are excited to have everyone on campus in person in Gainesville, FL this year.

Our tournament has continued to cement its spot as one of the premier tournaments due to its high level of competition. As such, we are excited to offer bids for the 2024 Tournament of Champions. Quarterfinalists in Varsity Lincoln Douglas Debate, octafinalists in Public Forum Debate, and semifinalists in Congressional Debate will earn bids. In addition, high-level competitors in all eight Speech events will earn a bid. We are similarly proud to announce that we are an FFL sanctioned tournament.

This year, we will also be offering World Schools Debate and Impromptu in addition to all events offered in the previous year.

We will be using the November / December NSDA topics for Lincoln-Douglas and Public Forum for this year's tournament.

Registration / Waitlist: Florida Blue Key will be holding all registration through the tournament website on Tabroom.com. We will take requests from other methods of communication. Registration will open on September 1st, 2023, at 8:00 AM where schools can begin to enter students or reserve “TBA” slots. At the beginning, all students will be placed on the waitlist until we begin clearing on September 18th.

The tournament will hold final registration electronically beginning on the morning of Friday, October 27th.
