Welcome to the first Vancouver Winter Classic by Grandview Heights Secondary & Earl Marriott Secondary.

Division & Format:
We have collapsed our divisions to one division CNDF Open. We will offer one division of Canadian National Debate Format (CNDF) debate.
Speech times will be 6min Constructive - 6min Rebuttal - 3min Summary
Prep time will be set on 20 minutes each round (Impromptu)

There will be one prepared motion for Round 1 & 2 where each team will prepare and debate both side of the motion. Motion as follows:

You are a research scientist working for a large pharmaceutical corporation. You accidentally discover a drug which indefinitely delays the aging process for as long as it is taken. No-one else is aware of what you have done. This House Would destroy all evidence of your discovery.
(No evidence or research will be allowed in any round regardless of impromptu or prepared motion)

Round 3-5 and elims will be impromptu with motions released 20 minutes before round.

Judging Obligation:
Each institution should have one Judge per two entries in any division. Entries will not be confirmed without judges. For independent entries judging obligation is removed.

We have enabled public judge sign-ups for volunteering judging! Please feel free to sign up to judge, no previous experience is required.
